Anthem, what happened?

Anyone get an Anthem guitar?

I remember they were great deals but haven't seen any reviews or much follow up.

How do they compare to Epi's, etc.?

Threads come and go pretty quick here, but if you search the forums you can usually find information pretty fast.

Feedback

Haven't seen any further feedback on the Anthems. Don't know if anyone got one or reviewed one.

Anthem with have a new name after the first of the year. I don't know what it will be yet.

I was on the phone with Benson Taylor the other day and he's still pretty excited about the company. They have a new semi hollow guitar coming out too.

Robert and I are both going to be endorsers of the guitars and with that possibly the bassist from my band Phat Bone as well.

I should be receiving something new from them after the first of the year and Robert most likely will too.

They haven't perished. The company just had to change names because of a trademark overlap. Look for the new company to be even more on track as the ball gets rolling for them in 2010.

You can still get a good selection by calling Doug at Chesbro music in Idaho Falls. The PSTs are $250 which is a pretty fair deal.
