I have an Anthem WTR30TBK in my house now! :bravo:

This is a high gain shredder guitar with 24 Frets, floyd rose tremolo, zebra style humbuckers and jumbo frets. It even came with a cable, nice strap and strings as well.

The body is made out of basswood, and it has a 3 Piece Bolt-on Canadian Maple Neck. The scale length is 25.5 inches.

It is really nice to play. Very smooth and no flaws like fret sprout or uneven frets. I am very picky about guitar necks, and this one is really, really nice. It has a flat but solid 17" radius and it is very easy to play fast lines on it. I really like this neck. The pickups are Anthem's own, and they really do sound good, especially the bridge pickup.

I plugged it in to my Marshall, and milda makaroner, sustain for days! "The sustain, listen to it." ;)

I will of course make up video demos eventually. Shred-Rob is back, watch out! :D

Not familiar w Anthem, but knowing how particular you are abt guitars, I have no doubt she's a winner!

(Edit: just checked Anthem's site. I remember that's the line spud was talking about. That's a cool shredder-lookin guitar, man! Look out, it might cut ya! :) )

Can't wait to see some vids of Shred-Rob and the new ax!

Btw, when's the ETA for your new Mack Gem?

Shred-Rob is the name of your true self; you had only forgotten.

Allow me to be the first to throw out a Ronnie James Dio hand-gesture :dude:

Everyone should have at least one "shredder guitar."

It looks beautiful, Robert. Congrats!

And now...

POST A CLIP!:dude:

BTW... What does "milda makaroner" mean? Mild macaroni?

Cool! Spud has been talking about these guitars. I look forward to seeing one in person, and before I have a chance to do that, maybe a good Shred-Rob vid!

You did see one on Tuesday when we saw Cary Judd at the Street Fair in Ketchum. He had the blue PST20.

Cary's site http://www.caryjudd.com/ He's an Anthem endorser from Jackson Wyoming that I've known for a while. Very talented and nice guy

Basswood = Goodwood
I really love basswood. The guitar looks great. Looking forward to some Robo-Shred video. Can't wait to hear that neck pu.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that one. It has been a crazy week or two. Cory sounded great!

Robert,
Thanks for a great review on these guitars. I have been looking at these guitars for about 6 months now and seeing that they are priced right for me, I think I have found my next guitar. I was hoping to have a MD dealer pick up some, but today there are still no takers. However, seeing your review and the YouTube video on them, makes me want to get one nonetheless. I am hoping that by year's end, I will have one in my hands.

Thanks again for the reivew.:AOK:
