LOL! Good ol' Stan Boreson, the king of Scandinavian humor in the good old Pacific Northwest. I am sure I have seen him with my Dad and Mom sometime. He used to have a show on the Seattle NBC affiliate tv station and performed songs like "Freida the Clamdigger's Sweetheart" and "I Yust Go Nuts at Christmas." He is from my Mom's hometown and graduated around the same time as my folks from University of Washington.

He and Ivar from Ivar's Acres of Clams fish houses were examples of Seattle's old Scandinavian campiness. http://www.ivars.net/ Forgive my drifting, but you got me a bit nostalgic for when Seattle was Seattle and not darn near a suburb of California.

And no, I do not admit to his statement at this time.
