Anyone tried the Guitar link?

It doesn't look like it's uber special but I was looking for something both simple and cheap to play along with some jam tracks on my computer. There are reviews and I've just joined but it looks as though the people who frequent fret.net would be more trustworthy than reviews on a retail site.

Don't know a thing about them, but after clicking on "reviews" and reading, I'd sure do my homework on my OS compatibility before buying one......

Most places are out of stock but are selling it for the same price as Best Buy. I found a few videos on youtube and for $30, it might be worth the gamble.

How much are they at Best Buy? Could you return it if you didn't like it?

I'd say if you needed to, you could re-sell it and get most of your money back, if it doesn't work properly for you. If it does, it might be a bargain, if it plays nice with your OS.

It may be some negative reviews are from purchasers who didn't understand how to install software/freeware that's included w/ the product.

It looks like it's $34 at Best Buy. I think they have a good return policy but I"m not sure I want to be a guinea pig. It seems there's lots of problems with Windows 7 x64 which is what I have.
