I've been playing pretty consistently every weekend with my band for a while now. Valentines Day we had a gig at Grand Targhee ski resort. We started apres' ski around 4 pm and played till 7 with only one 15 minute break.
I'd played there quite a bit in the past but this was by far the biggest crowd, the nicest and they stayed the longest. The bar help loved us and were all smiles not only because of the music but that people were staying and consuming. So money was flowing.
Here is a shot of the crowd as they were filing in and starting to eat. Afterward they just started drinking and then danced. Clothes started coming off at around 6 pm but I was so busy playing I couldn't get any pictures. Shortly after that bodies were laying on the floor and falling down on the dance floor. Everyone was having a really good time. I was just trying to keep my concentration from being distracted by the double Ds sitting in front of me.
So far the band is going over pretty well.
