I picked up one of these pedals a while ago because of the positive vibes on some other sites and the positive price (cheap). I kind of like the darn thing. The main issue I have with it other than its cheesy plastic case is that the bass response is not very good. I don't know if it is just my pedal or common on the Tubulator. I was wondering if any one has modded one of these or can recommend a way to fatten up the pedal? I am sure I could add some quality caps and things to bring it up but if I am going to go in there I would like to do some other things if there are any to do.
The pedal has a tube distortion type sound which it quite good but could be significantly better.
