Quite a nice shape and reminiscent somehow of some Ibanez guitars

Interesting that Gibby releases the Gibby Tak to the Western world, but the more affordable Epi version stays in Japan.

Sad, really. That looks to be a killer guitar in both Gibby and Epi versions, though I'd never touch the Gibby as it costs way too much.
