Nicely done Robert. The personal questions about hobbies, movies etc. were a nice touch to get a feel of Scott outside of the music. I like that 20 years later he's playing fewer notes.

Yeah, so every knows - the question about what has changed in his playing the last 20 years - that question came from Spud! I asked Spud for ideas for questions, and that suggestion made it to the interview. Thanks Spud!

Awesome job Boss..
I can feel he is a no compromise kind of guy ,music and musicality are always comin first..

A Great among the Greats ..

Sounds like a great conversation Robert.
I've been an electronic journalist for about 30 years, and I feel like I was sitting there right with you when you were talking to Scott.
People open up so much more when they know you personally have such a great interest and respect for what they do.
And that really came through in this excellent Q & A.
Thanks for sharing this.

Yeah, I had a great time talking with him. Even though he is one of the greatest guitarists ever, he's great at conversations too!

That was the first time I've interviewed an artist. Thanks to Scott, it worked out well I think.

Dude, I don't know how you got through that interview. I'd have passed out after the first question. It was great!

I've probably mentioned this ad nauseum, but a loooooooong time ago I had a chance to talk with Scott Henderson before a guitar clinic he put on at my guitar school in Austin, Texas. He was a really nice guy to a guitar noob who thought the world revolved around thrash drumbeats and shred. Seriously, that clinic changed my whole outlook on guitar, even though I wasn't grasping the concepts he was teaching at the time.
