The Auckland high gain pedal is a hardwired distortion able to give a detailed high gain sound with an unsurpassed level of keeping the low end.
The sounds of the Auckland range from Dumble like smooth drive to the ultimate in detailed distortion.
The pedal is fully hardwired which translates in a clear articulated sound with loads of harmonics and a serious punch in the lower registers.
I used a Suhr Badger 18 amp, into a 1x12 with a WGS Veteran speaker. I use an Apex 205 ribbon mic. I added some reverb from Toontrack's "Rooms & Verbs" EX Mix pack.
