Thanks for the backing OldGuy... I enjoyed it... here is my take on it... I kinda like the old radio sound to it... (least in my ears)

Thanks, Justa. I really enjoyed your take on it. I think you nailed more of the "surf" part. I laid down a lead that was more... well, I don't know what it was to be honest, just...different. I played this one all the way through, left it w/ mistakes and all. :D
Hey, it supposed to be fun, right?

I used that old strat copy I refinished in that "Warm Danish on your body" thread along with a Digitech RP50 w/ some delay straight into a Boss BR-532 (I call it a BR-549 in honor of Junior Sample) recorder, with the Jamman looper playing the backing track.
Really liked that mix you added, Justa. Couldn't hear you as well as I wanted to, but you sure got that surf sound goin' on!:D

Really enjoyed hearing the both of you! Thank you. I downloaded them, stuck 'em on my iPod, and was rocking down the road on the way to a court hearing in Fairfield, ID. I was loving the surf tones. Nice way to spend some windshield time.

Thank you so much, Steve. I love playing so much, even when I'm rushed to do so, and recordings end up with "clinkers", I don't mind putting them up for others to listen to. I just have fun, and try to help when I can.
Be sure to check out Box.net, it's really good, Robert was right on the money with this one.:D
Here's an old one I stuck on there. For instructional purposes only.:DR
Like I'd know, huh?
It's a backing track with a Valve Junior and an RP-50

Hey man! The box.net thing works great. I finally got to hear this tune. Very nice. Great playing. It reminds me of listening to Oliver English at my local supper club when I was a kid. He's the brother to Willie Nelson's drummer.

Great tone and superb playing. We need more of this on the fret. Keep it coming. Yahoo!
