Band Name Game

A friend of mine introduced me to this game a couple of years ago, and we sometimes have battles via text message. I'm not sure if he came up with it or not, but it's kind of fun regardless.

Combine two (or more) band names together, linking via a common word or multiple syllables. Try to avoid repeats as much as possible.

Examples:

Animal Collective Soul
Semisonic Youth
The Rolling Stone Roses (kind of cheated on that one)

Kind of the right idea, but you have to overlap at least part of a word and keep the band names in order to make it work.

For instance, you could do Pearl Jamiroquai or Frank Black Keys, but not Alicia Black Keys, if you catch my drift.
