How many bands from he 70s can you name that still (currently) have all the original members?

Periods with different members don't matter. They have to have the original members today that they started with.

Any of the solo singer/songwriter guys still being solo and singer/songwriting. Neil and his guitar, harmonica, and piano, Dylan, James Taylor, I would say Cat Stevens, but now the name is Yusaf Islam.

Bands, not solo artists.

Cheap Trick.

I think so.:AOK:

From Wiki:
In 1974 Rick Nielsen, Tom Petersson, and Bun E. Carlos replaced Hogan with Robin Zander. The band was renamed, and Cheap Trick was born. In its earliest days Cheap Trick could be seen playing some free admission venues such as Sinnissippi Park in Rockford.

The Sex Pistols

Bad Brains

The Sex Pistols do qualify. Bad Brains do not. They currently have a different singer than the original.

Good one. I know it's hard. There aren't many bands around that still have the original members.

Uh...unless Sid Vicious has been resurrected...I don't think the Sex Pistols qualify.

Sid was not an original member of the band. Glen Matlock played bass originally (from 75-77). The band that toured as recently as 2008 is the original Sex Pistols (Matlock, John Lydon, Steve Jones and Paul Cook).

I remember seeing an ad in the back pages of some music magazine a few years ago when Glen Matlock was doing his solo gig. He billed himself as "The original Sex Pistols bass player".
