Bitmo Jet City Mods

There's a couple of videos out there demonstrating the current Bitmo mods out there for the Jet City JCA20H. The first is mostly talk, but he plays a bit with the amph stock at the very end. The second video shows off the mods. The first mod adds an "overdrive" (although how that is accomplished isn't clear). The second bypasses the tone stack.




I personally wouldn't consider doing either mod. A mod that gave more clean headroom might be nice for some people--although I think that could be accomplished with a 12AT7. As you well know, I'm in it for the crunchy goodness. If I wanted loud and clean, I'd go Fender. I don't so I didn't. The videos do give a good (albeit brief) taste of the tone of this amph stock.

I like the sound of the mods, especially the second/distorted mod. I like how it smooths it out.
