Uses a 12BH7 dual triode as an output tube. The 12BH7 is kind of like a heavy duty 12AU7. One 12AX7 preamp tube. With OD and clean channels, it must have some solid state components in the preamp generating gain.

I wonder when this will be available in the States? GC sells Blackstar amps, so it might be available there.

Thanks for posting that review. The amp sounded pretty good in the sound clip. I hope the amp makes it to the States, I'd like to try one out.

Wait till you see the Artisan 15 combo. An AC15 normal channel with EF86 and a 18w Marshall circuit side by side. Very cool, almost makes the 30w channel switcher look boring. These are made in China so they should be available anywhere. Hey, if they're in New Zealand...

Heard some of them at music live...15watt amp through 3 2x12 cabs, you could hear it 30 yards off over all the other amps. Sounded much better than the Marshalls as well.

Got myself an almost new Ht-5 head for $240.00 on ebay last week , i enjoy it a lot ,it s small , pretty powerful for a 5 watt and it got balls and tone....

My ears and my lady are realy enjoyin it...
