In light of my shift in direction with my playing, I decided the time has come for some serious wood shedding. I have booked lessons with a friend of mine who is an incredible guitar player who happens to play the blues quite well.
He knows my strengths and weaknesses and he's promised to push me hard. In return, I have promised him I'll be a diligent student.
I'm looking forward to starting soon, but I'm actually a litttle scared. It's been a LONG time since I was actually pushed hard in my playing. Time to leave the comfort zone and learn new things.
