I put one of these together last night, and found it to be amazing. This pedal is off the chain. The sustain on this thing is long and sweet. I often wondered how Kelly Isley made that sound:AOK

I hear you. "Sustain for days", as they say. The ESV Two-Knob Bender design is really very similar to the Fuzz Face, but that third germanium transistor really kicks the fuzz & sustain up a notch. The BYOC Large Beaver (Big Muff clone) also has a ton of sustain on tap, but it's a different tone--smoother, less raw/fuzzy sounding.
