Calling all enablers! (amp input wanted)

I can possibly get a 70's/silverface Champ for a Benjamin even.

Wot sayest thou?

Who has these? My understanding is that they're an 8" speaker and of course all tubes, good for studio but of course must be mic'd in a band sitch. Is that all true?

This price decent?

That's a great price. They go for ~300 from what I've seen. Great little amp.
