Guitar Center officially owns Clapton's Blackie...you might remember the almost 1 Mio Dollar auction back then..

The Clap went down to GC i Manhattan to meet his old buddy Blackie and play a few notes on it. There's really some kind of deep love in Clapton's eyes when he plays that black Strat, don't you think so, too?

Looking at the photos, I was delighted to see that Eric, who has owned thousands of guitars, still acts like a kid in a candy store when he goes into a guitar shop.

Frigging shame they can't make decent guitars for everyone else. You buy a guitar then have to spend more money putting it right !
