No, I'm nowhere good enough for that yet, but I think Tone's gonna help me out in that department when he gets time.:)

Some are JamTracks-free backing tracks, some are GT backing tracks. If you surf a little, there are lots of sites out there with downloads. Some are spot-on backings re-done by individuals, some are just jamtraks to use for practice and educational/informational purposes. They will help keep you motivated.

Thanks guys, I had visited the bt site and found them down. Will keep watching though.

Anybody know how to get this particular (or any) backing track into a looper?

Download it into your computer and play it from your computer or from an mp3 or CD player > into the aux or CD input of your looper > capture what part you want > save it to memory.

You'll need the appropriate cables to do this.

For the love of ramen noodles, will someone please put this out of it's misery so we can move on?
DVM, couldn't you've just played another 60 seconds?
Justa, can you put this thing away for us? Half a minute would do it.:DR

Hey, I said all I wanted to say at the time! Didn't want to be hogging the clip! But I would have finished it off if I'd realized how long it was going to languish. Our little flurry of activity in this forum seems to have died down rather abruptly!

Hey I want to join in, but my ability to record is hampered right now. My computer's sound card broke and my paralegal is using the other one. I will get brave, join in and help with the activity, but it might be after the holidays. Just had to let you know of my good intentions as my Catholic guilt was acting up.

I'm glad I'm not the only Catholic Skateboarder here. LMAO

I'd spank something on the colab if I had the proper internet connection. Soon oh yes very soon I should be able to contribute something of significance. I hope. Hey Robert how's your Fret CD project coming anyway?

THANK YOU, JUSTA! :R
And thanks to all who played on this!
See how much fun this can be?
I felt like I was down at the old watering hole with all my friends jumping onstage and jamming with us!!:DR
When I go back and play these I don't hear anything except a lot of friends jamming. And they all sound great! Thank all of you for contributing to the jams. Every one of us has something to add to the mix, and I love it. Keep it coming! Post some more backing tracks, and let everybody take a turn on them. If you've got a favorite BT, put it up here, and let's have fun with it.
