I have 2 external USB hard drives. Is there a way to have my computer put back up material on them as I add new stuff? I've been doing this manually with music albums but it's a PITA with pictures and other files remembering what I've already transfered to storage.

Yes, I know there's a way, though I couldn't name you any apps off the top of my head. It's a fairly standard practice for many data freaks.

What's your OS? In Linux, you can use a pretty simple script to do it for you that's built right into the system.

I'm on Windows XP. I guess I can search around the web but I figured there might some users here that had this figured out. I hate picking up information off the street. I'd much rather get it at home.:)

mmm its microsoft ..... better off with fabs backup

I'll still check it out. Synctoy does what I'm looking for. I don't know if fabs does without the bloat. Still I'm going to check it out. Couldn't today because I had an out of town gig.
