Check out http://www.davidbrayamps.com - he makes amps "better".

I am currently in a Marshall drooling mode, and have been so for a while. Check out the clips at http://www.davidbrayamps.com/soundclips.htm - they make an even bigger drool puddle on the floor in my office.... :master:

These clips are giving me.... what's it called?

M.A.S!

Marshall Acquisition Syndrome! or

M.M.A.S! Modded Marshall Acquisition Syndrome!

 :dude:

No, I like my Heatseeker. But dude, listen to that first 1959SLP clip on that page!
That is just killer! My amps don't do that kind of distortion, but they do a good job of bluesy overdrive.
You of anyone knows, Tone, that there is nothing like a Marshall... ain't that so? ;)
You lucky sun of a donkey has a Jubilee! With bad tubes! Fix up that baby and let us hear it scream! Those amps are some of the best Marshall ever made. They go for a lot of money used these days, since they are so wanted.

I know... better than calling him "Dudette"... :)

This guy mods these amps just south of me. Bet I could drive down there through Montana and pick one up and get rid of some serious cash in the process! Or not....

Yessiree there is nothing like a Marshall. *nods*

Oh it's got great tubes...new ones...it's just got a worn push/pull pre-amp knob and yeah you're right I should get that fixed soon. It works fine as long as I don't "move" anything on the preamp knob. It's "permanently set" to 7. Old Marshalls tend to do funny things like that anyway. :)

The clips on that site sounded good too dude.

Dude Happy Birthday,When can we here the sound clips you must have M.A.S.G.A.S. by now.Sumi

Bray does some awesome work! I used to own a 1959SLP head modded by him. You could go from cleans to Zeppelin to EVH on it. Master volume mod was great too. But I regrettably sold it. But have recently gotten a Fargen MiniPlex MK2 with power scaling and man for low volume...it kills!

Here's a youtube link I did: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GehGS9RfQJI
