I'm a huge Daytrotter junkie, so I could mention things here nearly 7 days a week that I find of interest. But today is special. My very good friend and occasional guitar teacher's band is featured today. this is the same guy I've mentioned a couple of times here, as he also hails from Hailey Idaho, and the bands name, and two of the songs on their set list allude to his NW youth.
dolly varden is the name of the trout, native to Idaho, and the colorful woman of the same name in a Dickens novel.
Steve's a graduate of Berklee School of Music, and was called by the London Times the "white Al Green"
They been together for 16 years and have a half dozen albums to their credit.
