Design feedback

Building myself another guitar,and I want and ash body this time with a maple neck,I have the neck it's quatersawn,stainless frets,v shape.All my other strats are alder so that is why I want to try ash,but it is a bright wood(think teles)I am going to make this one a hardtail so I was thinking to have the body chambered.My reason to warm up the tone and also lighten up the guitar.Well what do you all think.Sumi

I can't speak of the chambering, but my ash hardtail tele isn't overly bright. Sounds like a nice guitar though.
