For some time now I've been looking at getting a relatively inexpensive delay pedal. I seem to be zeroing in on the Digitech DigiDelay. It's inexpensive, has a lot of features, and is generally well received. I might even be able to swing a deal on one.
Anyway, does anyone who has this pedal tried to put an OD/boost in front of it? I know some pedals freak out when you hit them with a pretty hot signal.
As an aside, what's the difference between echo and delay? I assumed they were synonyms but now I'm not sure. The Ibanez DE-7 really threw me for a loop because it has a delay/echo switch.
