Digitech The Weapon quick test

Here,

I recorded a quick 'metal' piece with the Weapon D/I...using the two presets and two tracks, rhythm and a quick impromptu lead over it. Really just random notes and bends...I've never ever played any real metal music.

I don't much like the sounds meself but perhaps metal guys might. Mind you I cut off a LOT of the high end, without EQ the sound is more, well, metal.

I dunno, even though I don't like the sound so much, maybe I'll keep it in case I need to record something heavier than my usual stuff.

I borrowed one of these pedals from a friend a couple years ago. It's an interesting pedal, in a gimmicky kind of way. Not my thing, but I'm sure there are uses for it.

Yeah quite my thoughts - initially I downright hated it when I tried it in front of my amp, but it might have some uses after all. The funny thing is how bad it sounds to me when I'm playing it, versus how...well quite nice in comparison it sounds when played back from the DAW with drums etc.
