Downsized just a bit

My back voted for me, so I trimmed the rig down a bit.

The smaller rack is still a tad heavy, but I can pick it up and carry it myself. In place of the power conditioner, I installed a power strip in the back of the rack.

MUCH more portable!

Ah, but I like my wireless. This is my gig rig, and the wireless is indispensable.

i suppose thats not that much heavier than a tube head?

being as how the rack sits ontop of the mesa cab, and the whole lot is on wheels, i guess its still easier on the back than the Germino

There are a couple of threads about it in the modeling amps forum that I commented on. I absolutely love it.

The new rack probably weighs as much, it not more, than the Germino - the power amp is a boat anchor, but it's much less bulky and easier to carry. I think I'm going to look for a lighter power amp. I had this one laying around doing nothing from an old PA system, so I pressed it into service.
