A nice Dumble ODS-100 clip ,can hear awesome Indians scales too ...

A dream amp that a musician can not reach ,maybe if i was a surgeon or a doc:whatever: ..

Wow, I love the tone of the amp. (not surprising) I also really like the way this guy plays.

I don't know if I'd ever be able to afford such an amp. Not sure that I would want one even if I could. I'd be afraid to take it out of the house. All of the players that I've heard who swear by Dumble amps have the best tone (Eric Johnson, Santana, Roben Ford, etc.) It would be cool to try one some day.

Ah, but a reasonably accurate clone can be had. Not for paupers, but not nearly as expendive as a Dumble...

I have the 50w OTS, like it a lot.
As far as the whole Robben Ford/Larry Carlton comments on Youtube and everywhere else, yes they play Dumble amps, but also other brands.
My wife and I, plus a couple friends, attended an outdoor venue featuring Robben Ford last summer. Fantastic music, unreal tone. He played through........... are you ready???
A Fender Twin Reverb+Super Reverb chained together. At one point in the show the Twin started acting up. He unplugged it, cranked the Super way up, and carried on. The way the guy plays, plus the pedals he uses, the difference was nearly indiscernable. Huge fat overdriven tones, harmonics, etc. A Dumble might have sounded better, all I'm saying is, in the hands of Robben Ford, the Fenders did just fine........................:)

RF uses the Hermida Zendrive when he uses the Fenders. Gets you close! I love mine!

I also have 8 Dumble style amps. Congrats on the Ceriatone.

That's criminal, man. Your only chance at redemption is to send me one of them immediately (gesturing hypnotically, like Mandrake used to). This would leave you with 7, an intrinsically lucky number. You'll feel much better--trust me. PM me for mailing address....

Send me one too , it ll give you more space in your music room, also who needs 7 Dumble type amps?

Nice pedal on your avatar DVM ..

Yes, it is, particularly if you like fire engine red. But since it's "change your avatar month", it's going to change.....momentarily.

Yep! Blaze and fire engine red could do a nice tandem together..

Funny, but I somehow missed oldguy's many posts on this Ceriatone Overtone Special. For a couple of years I have been looking at the 18 Watt's, the JTM 45's, and some of the other EL84 based amps that Ceriatone offers...but until recently, none of the Dumble clones.

Well, after going on YouTube and listening to all of the clips there, I knew that I had to have this amp. I PM'ed oldguy to get his input (again, not realizing that he had already reported on this amp extensively). He graciously replied with a lengthy evaluation which certainly didn't do anything to dissuade me from buying one. In fact his evaluation of the amp only served to make me want one more...:AOK:

Who was it who said, "Life is too short to have lousy tone"? Whoever it was, I have to agree.
