P90's are magic pickups - they're great clean, even better with a little hairy edge, and smoke with some serious overdrive...................all the while retaining that great single coil definition, jangle, and bite. :dude:

Jimi: I know this is an old thread, and I know you have a sweet Marshall, but you just can't beat the Gibson guitar. Fender amp combo. I would recommend a 65 Deluxe Reverb. You can mike it for gigs. Amazing tone at 22 watts.

I think P-90 Les Pauls are becoming my all time favorite guitars. I love mine. Single coil almost Strat like neck tones out of a Les Paul...what a great combination and that bridge just sounds punky.
