8/30/09 UPDATE: SOLD ON EBAY

With the new Carvin CT6 in the house, it's time for a couple of things to go. Figured I'd post 'em here and give my fellow Fretters first shot before they go up on eBay. I'll be posting more stuff, but for now, let's get started with....

2006 Epiphone '56 Goldtop Reissue Les Paul w/ P90s:

I picked this up on eBay a couple of years ago. It's a "factory second", presumably due to some cosmetic defect. The only ones I've ever been able to find are a tiny flaw in the gold finish underneath the neck pickup beneath the G string (see if you can find it in the "body shot" below), and another that's hidden by the pickguard. Gorgeous guitar in truly mint condition, 100% functional, no problems. I'd be surprised if this guitar has more than 20 - 25 hours of playing time on it, no kidding. Plays & sounds great, but I have another LP (an Elitist Standard) that I like even better & play more, and one of 'em has to go now.

The guitar has been upgraded with vintage style Grover tuners that look great & work much better than the stock ones (which will also be included). Also included is a BRAND NEW (literally; it's never been used) Epiphone LP hard-shell case that I bought after acquiring the guitar, a $79 value.

These guitars typically go for $500 at all the big name places, occasionally on sale for $450. But you can own it along with the cool vintage Grover tuners and the new HSC for just $349! PM me if interested.

Here are some photos--ignore the reflections on the outdoors shots. The backside shot is an older one, before I changed the tuners.

Hey, sometimes ya just have to cull the herd!

(Like you never sold any of your nice guitars! :poke: )

LOL yeah I know. Just had to say something about it you know me. Anyone who buys this is gonna get one hell of a guitar for the price.

Finally listed it tonight on eBay with a Buy-It-Now price of $389, shipping included. Sold in 43 minutes! Prolly shoulda asked more, but I got it cheap and was just looking to break even....
