my friend just got one of these off of a veteran guitarist for nothing. it works perfectly and sounds awesome.

the guy who gave it to him says its about 30-40 years old.

if what he said is true, what is a 30 year old fender delux valve amp worth?

i think

i havent personally seen it yet, im gonna see it tomorrow. he just told me on windows live that he got a mint 1960/70 fender delux valve amp from some guy whos friends with his dad

ill get back to researching once ive seen it for myself.

The value of those (Hot Rod Deluxe) stock used is anywhere from $350 to $450. If it's had a speaker swap that could up the value and certainly the tone.
They have some issues that may pop up down the road yet are a fairly easy fix. There is a lot of information on the web about them. I play through one too although I don't use the drive channel/s. The amp really loves pedals into the clean channel.

I would take the HR Deluxe over the V33 since the V33 is one of the newer ones. My VC Crate is from the mid 90s and those were the really good ones. It's an awesome amph.

About £300-350 used in the UK depending on condition.

Spud, no one likes the drive channels on the HRD as far as I can tell. Fortunately the clean channel is a great pedal platform.

This site has more than anyone probably needs to know about the HRD.

It reminds me of the Traynor YCV40 but mine has the Wine Red leatherette and oatmeal grille vintage look combined with the Celestion™ Vintage 30 speaker ,known as the YCV40WR..
