I was told that I picked up a southern Brit accent when my friends arrived here on holiday earlier this year. This coming from my dear northerner Brit friend who lives here in town. I love talking in accent! That woman was obviously jarred back to her past life experience from the accident she was in.

When I moved back to NY after living in New Hampshire for four years my friends said I had picked up a New England accent. Those bastids ah wicked wrong.
