You really should do a acoustic version of "Aces of Spades"!
I can just hear that a la Pat Boone's heavy metal album. *snapping fingers to jazz combo in the background* Theeeee ace of spaaaaaades, theee ace of spaaaades.

Thanks guys! Last night went really well. People enjoyed our playing quite a bit, and the waitresses were saying we were being received very well. Hopefully we can get more gigs here after this.

Going back tonight for another go at it. We tried some new stuff this time, and most of it sounded decent. I used my Hellhound and Strat with my pedals. I'll try and play more acoustic tonight.

glad things went well friday....good luck tonight...i played the lotto today in honor of your gamblin' gig!

Yah the gig went great both nights. I was just dead tired the second night. Playing for 7:30 till midnight is hard, man! It's a lot of work.

There were more people the 1st night, but we had fun and we learned some new tunes that sounded good. The Tiki Bar is Open by John Hiatt and Fields of Gold by Sting.

Oh, Wah wah wah.... What kinda Rockstar are you anyway, Robert? Does your Deluxe Players Strat turn into a pumpkin at midnight? :rotflmao:

Jest kiddin' :AOK:

Glad the gigs went well. There will be more to come, I'm sure. How's the pay for a casino gig? We might pursue that in the future too.

Sounds like a fun gig Robert.

I know what you mean about getting tired on a long gig like this. Whenever our band plays on Friday nights we're all pretty tired by the last set since we all have day jobs and families. Saturday gigs are much easier since we can rest up during the day.

Have fun! Now all of those guitars are paying for themselves.
