No not that gas, I'm referring to the kind you put in your car and depletes your GAS budget. I was just curious what you are paying for gas in your area? I just went out to fill up the tank (and 5 gal containers). Gas in this area of Ohio is running $3.09 to $3.19, fortunately we have fuel perks from the grocery store, so I paid $0.48 per gallon for 30 gallons (normally I get 30 gallons for free, but I couldn't wait for the perks to add up).

So, what is the cost of gas these days in your little part of the world? They said on the news this morning to expect $4.00 per gallon later this year.

96.9 cents per litre today, here in Camrose, Alberta.

Crap ! that's a bargoon  Robert, we were $1.03/litre around Christmas and are now at $1.06 after someone farted overseas.

I guess that's around $4/ US gal. ?

US$2.76 / Gal this morning coming into work.

How about when it's $2.76 on the way to work and you think "hey, I'll fill up on the way home" and when you are headed home it's at $3.09. Or when you fill up at $3.09 and you drive 15 more miles (on the way to work) and it's $2.83 by work. Around here you will see a $0.30 spread in gas prices for the same grade and sometimes the same brand.

Anyone else have "fuel perks" in your area? We received $875 in free gas in a 12 month period from Nov 06 to Nov 07. Get them from the grocery store and the way my kids eat, it pays off to shop at the one store that offers them.

$2.85 a gallon here, no such thing as fuel perks. Takes about $60 to fill up the tank on my truck.

$3.07 here in the People's Republic of Wisconsin. We are in the Top 5 states for gas tax. The local grocery store gives some rebates though.

I ride my bike...even in the winter.

Hope you have shower facilities at your work......or work by yourself....:poke:

I'd like to ride my bike to work, but I have a 55 mile commute every day to and from work. Then, once I get to work, I have to travel to different sites from the central office.....not to mention the laptop, briefcase, files, etc that I need to take with me :thwap: I'd have to attach one of these to the back of my bike:
