North of the Equator: I am a Southerner, Southern
I was driving to Rockland Maine,(a pretty cool name for guitar player to visit), and on the way I saw several Gas stations selling for $2.83/gal.
Most of the ones around Augusta are in the $3.12 to $3.08 range right now.
What are you guys paying around the US. I have been away from Canada for a couple of weeks and when I left it was on it's way down.

2.99 SW VA

We are STILL in the mid 3's up here in SV area. We are always higher than the rest of the state, which tends to be higher than a lot of other places overall. Grrr.

I will be heading home tomorrow. On the way down on the NY thruway it was 395 down to 375 on the Mass Pike. They really gouge you on the thruways.
My SUV is pretty good on gas and gets about 30 mpg, so I am pretty lucky.
I heard on the news that there was a glut of gas because people are just not driving a lot. I hope this backfires on those gas gouging SOBs. It has really hurt an already fragile economy.

Still $2.75 in New Mexico. Well in Albucrazy anyway.

is that where you're from man? I was down there about a year ago at the national lab and I thought it was an absolutely awesome place. Really want to go back there.

1 gallon = 3,785 litre.

Here in Europe (Germany) we pay 1,52€ per litre which is 5,75€ per gallon which is per today's exchange rate of 1,34 = 7,70 USD/gallon.

That is the reason why I go to work by train.

It's .99 cents per litre this morning in southern Ontario.
It actually made the news because it dropped to less than a dollar a litre.

Gas is about 7 usd / gallon here! (13 sek / litre)

So enjoy your driving boys and gals :reallymad:

Yup I be from 'burque. You in the military? Where you from?

I live in Southwest VA but I subcontract for some places all over. I had a meeting at the National Lab about a year ago, flew out on a Wednesday, was supposed to have meetings both Thursday and Friday but the Friday was canceled, so I took the day and drove all over the place, up to Santa Fe, even up in that sky tram thing - was freakin awesome. I wanted to hit white sands but didn't get the chance. Anyway, Really cool place, I'd really love to be able to take a job out there, but my girl would never move so far from her family.

Hell, yes! Haven't you ever heard of towns like Dime Box or Frame Switch?

Welcome to Georgia son! I live not too far from Climax and Recovery, both smaller than Donalsonville. Also only 22 miles from beautiful downtown Two Egg, Florida. (Why is called that? 'Cause that's how big it is, about 2 eggs...) :D

BTW, gasoline hit $2.499 at one station today. :bravo:

I thought you were bs'ing with Climax and Recovery and Two Egg, but I googled. I thought Climax and Recovery was the name of one town. Pull in, everyone is kicked back smoking a cigarette.

Each state will be different due to each state's tax levied against gasoline.

I think us US citizens should go down to DC and dump our gasoline in the Potomac River and set it on fire. Sort of like a Boston Tea Party but with Texas Tea instead.

It does not matter who gets elected, the prices will go back up.

Last week between where I live and where I work, there was a 40 cent difference in price. Gas was much higher near work.
