Hi folks...
I recently found this site (initially it came up in Google when I was looking for some assistance with my $25 Fullerton Strat!) and think that I will like hanging out here. I'm 35 years old and first started screwing around on guitar when I was 15. Actually, it's embarrassing to realize how long I've been playing...the ratio of talent to number of years playing isn't impressive :(
I'm live in Connecticut these days. With regard to music, I have pretty eclectic taste in what I listen to. In terms of playing, I tend to favor blues and blues-based rock. I'd love to play jazz, but frankly haven't really tried to learn in any systematic way.

My gear includes:
1950s Fender reissue MIJ Strat (bought it new in 1987 or 1988)
Hamer import (Korean) SATF sunburst archtop
Fullerton ST-3 Strat copy
Taylor acoustic (can't recall the model, but a basic model)
silverface Fender champ amp
silverface Fender Musicmaster Bass amp
Ibanez TS-10 tube screamer (I modified it to be the same as the TS-808)
Korg Ampworks amp simulator
Holy Grail reverb pedal
Crybaby wah wah
Peavey foundation bass (active)
Traynor bass practice amp
Rogue dreadnought acoustic guitar

I look forward to the interactions here...
