Well I actually think I forgot about telling everyone this....

well a long time ago this year I auditioned for the play grease and made it:rockon: I was johnny casino. well after working my @$$ off for 3 or 4 months and getting home at like 11 the play was finally yesterday and we rocked it out:dude: we have to do the ply again today and tomorrow but Im stoked

Hey, that is great!!! It had to be a blast just working up to the big night and then to have the big night a success, that's the hard work paying off. I congratulate you for the hard work and the success.

My daughter works stage crew and does the photography for all of the school plays, she came home last week and told me she has been trying out for a small part in an upcoming musical and she got the part. I know how hard she worked for a small part, I know you had to put your heart and soul into nailing your part in Grease.

yeah it pretty much killed my social life for a few months but it is so worth it in the long run. im definitely trying out for the next play

Go Kris! It's great that you are stretching yourself in so many musical/artistic ways. I think that many of us missed/passed on that opportunity when we were your age, and you don't get to go back later and try again. Keep trying everything you have the opportunity to try. Congratulations!

Good for you Kris! Anything that gives you that much joy is worth doing. :D

Great job, Kris! Congratulations and "break a leg"! We're all proud of you. What's next? High School Musical 4? :D

Seriously kid, keep up the good work! First the school talent contest and now the theater. You're a true "Renaissance Man". :AOK:

I have been known to do a some theater. Three years ago this month, we put on "Annie" at the local arts council. Sold out 3 shows and could have done more, but everybody had too many commitments (the joys of a small town - the same few do most of the work). I happened to land a small role as Daddy Warbucks. Here's a picture of me and my 2 daughters:

The 12 year old was one of the kids in a street scene and my 18 year helped with lighting. She would have been in it too (GREAT actress) but had too many things going on at that time.

Anyway, keep us posted in all you endeavors!

Congratulations Kris(?)/pes_laul.
One of the guitarists from Foo Fighters (not Dave Grohl nor Pat Smear) was in Grease, so you never know...
