Anybody here got any experience with Hagström guitars????

I saw this new model which reminds me strongly of a Gibson SG.

It goes for 399€ = approx. 280 USD.

The next Hagström dealer is a little far away, so I thought I'd get some opinions before travelling the long road.

What are those Hagströms like?

If you use the search function you can find a couple of old Hagström discussions. The new Korea made guitars are pretty good, but dont expect them to have "Made In Sweden" quality like the old ones.

Jimi, by my calculations, 400 euros is around 520 dollars - is the guitar 280 euros (which would around 400 dollars)?

Jimi, my first axe was a Hagstrom I (in England I think they were called the Kent). I can't be really fair though because that was a long time ago (1980). I do know it was pretty tough and I couldn't hurt it as much as I tried.
