In two hours it will be October 5th. You share the same birthday as my daughter and Guitar Gal (wishes for GG to follow).

So although a few hours early, let me say

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SPUDMAN
- I/WE HOPE YOU ENJOY THE DAY AND THE YEAR TO COME.

Of course we have cake from the Strum bakery and the beer girls to give a birthday toast.

Happy Birthday, Spuds!

BTW, Strum, I think that cake is an example of the one brand of guitar that Spud doesn't own. Good choice!:AOK:

Happy B-day a few hours early, Spudley! I just had the pleasure of having early birthday dinner with Spud and Ms. Spud after a great day. Happy, happy day to you!

Gawd I am so bloated. I ate way too much.

Thanks for the Bday wishes. Now to go pound some brews to see if I can:puke:

Happy Birthday to you Spudster! I'll be out of town on the 5th & 6th, so I'm jumping the gun a little too! Hope it's a happy one! :dude: :bravo: :AOK:

Happy Spud-day Steveman!

Soooo, any new strats in the backyard?
No Strats...yet, but if I'm good I might get Sun Valley to forget to take his new Viking home. I only have a few red guitars and it would make a nice addition to the herd.

Happy birthday to a fellow Libra :bravo:

Hope you have a great day Spud :dude:

I was JUST going to say the same thing!!! Happy B-day Spudman - thanks for the great energy and humor you bring to this place!

I see some beautiful country out there Spud, do I see a Spud peak out in the distance? What a great place to have a birthday. Have a Happy One fellow Fret.Netter:rockon:

Yeah, and there is a nipple sticking out of my crotch. :rotflmao:

It was a great time over there in Pocatellocaster. My dog does like to stay close, but not that close BTW. Thanks for the nice time Spud and Ms. Spud, and the Spudette. She put on a great little birthday party, and was very nice to my dog.

Re: new gear, I did not notice any specifically birthday related, but I will say that black gator skin looking Ibanez he got a few days back is an incredible guitar.

Except SVL has a dog sticking out his butt.

I told him to be careful where he sat but sometimes folks just don't listen. The bizarre part was getting food into the dog. I mean she had to eat ya know.

Okay, I know that was crude but after a double shot and jamming all night at the club I'm feeling a little spunky. It was pretty fun when later in the night I just resigned myself to the fact that the bass player is never going to get better. He also announced the he and his girlfriend of 3 weeks are getting married. I just said to myself WTF, had a double and turned up the Luke.

The last set I used the ART300. Both guitars are active and sound stellar through the Peavey C30 and Voodoo Man's Zonkin Yellow Screamer. I also used plenty of Whammy and Wah from the Digitech EX7 pedal. We had the place dancing all night. So I guess it was a pretty good way to spend my birthday.

Cheers y'all and thanks for the birthday thread.
