It's tough naming a band.. E.G. "Alpha Dog"...new movie.

How about "FretNetNutzoids"?

Shouldn't be an issue having two bands with the same name, as long as one isn't infringing on the others rep or opportunity to make $$$, booking in the same area etc. Yer on opposite sides of the continent.

Just for fun, you should google Mid-Life Crisis Band and see how many pop up! And we thought we were soooooo clever R

or

Billy-Bo and the Postmodern Antediluvian Bivalves.

Although, one would get the nickname

"The Bivalves"

which seems vaguely to have possibly unintended connotations.
