Is 'Eye of the Tiger' allowed? That is the song that Rocky 'trains' to, isn't it?

If I needed to catch a train, that song would help a lot. :D

Maybe, but you'll be stopping on your way all the time to run up stairs and raise your fists in the air while you prance around. It could make you late for your train and you might have "Just Missed The Train."

If you want an early start then you'd better get on the Morning Train
Kind of a big jump from "Morning Train" to "Sugar Walls," isn't it :)

How could I forget Nitro's "Freight Train" featuring MAB and Jim Gillette (aka Mr. Lita Ford)? FWIW, Gillette is doing some sort of MMA fighting this days and is absolutely huge.

It is crazy how many train songs there are. So many songs about transportation, planes, trains and automobiles.

Spud, I forgot all about 'ol Sheena. Were the '80s really that long ago? (Don't answer that. :rotflmao: )

SV thanks for the classic Cat Stevens. That guy is so good. That was a great train song...even with the visions of Alfred.

I used to be real into Cat Stephens as a youngun'. Thanks Sun.

Take the last train to Clarksville...

I suppose that really was the Penultimate Train to Clarksville.

I promise that *this* is the last Last Train to Clarksville:

Love In Vain

Or maybe youre more of a "Stones" fan?

FWIW I find Robert Johnson a lil difficult to listen to, dont get me wrong, I like his songs, but eh...

A little different train song this time, resurrecting this thread. My wife's mom, and my folks have been going through some things. (It is all ok right now, but still, a sign of changes). So this song really rings home these days. Hope you enjoy it.

Travelling north, travelling north to find you
Train wheels beating, the wind in my eyes
Don't even know what I'll say when find you
Call out your name love, dont be surprised

It's so many miles and so long since I've met you
Don't even know what I'll find when I get to you
But suddenly now I know where I belong
It's many hundred miles and it won't be long

It wont be long
It wont be long
It wont be long

Nothing at all in my head to say to you
Only the beat of the train I'm on
Nothing I've learnt all my life on the way to you
Only our love that's over and gone

It's so many miles and so long since I've met you
Don't even know what I'll find when I get to you
But suddenly now I know where I belong
It's many hundred miles and it won't be long

It wont be long
It wont be long
It wont be long
