Do any of you play this song? Can you look at this tab and let me know if it is correct...or close to correct?

CountryBoy_HankJr

I have not yet purchased a guitar with a wider neck so my Cmajor has to be translated to a (oh heck it escapes me now) but the shape is like a G major with your pinkie and middle moved over one string each....

If the tab is not correct...could any of you transcribe this song for me using this particular C chord shaping?

Hi Kazz, I think I learned this song from the same tab actually awhile back..
I think the C chord your talking about is a Cadd9 and ya know.. just for sheets and giggles..
I replaced the Am7 with that chord in the tab..
and it don't sound half bad..lol.. but I can't hear anyways...
then with D, Gmaj with the pinky and the Cadd9 you could run from this song to 'Sweet Home Alabama' and then to 'every rose have its thorn'
and never leave the third fret much.. heh...

Oh don't forget those lil riffs Ole Hank throws in there..
Ole Hank

or Ole Hank Pro Sound

Since you asked about this.. I been hoping someone would direct "us" to the REAL tab...

I haven't played it in awhile and haven't stopped playing it since posted...

A great song...

I like to use drop D on this for the riff.. and use the DropD G which is what I think Hank uses on here... 5x0003?
also..
there is so many different ways to avoid C.. and don't think he uses it..
even A7sus4 works along with em7 with the added pinkies and blocking the low E(nowD).
heck,
it's corntry music..ya can play it any ole way ya likes..

But learning it right..shure wood be nice huh...

Anyone?
