Hey Dan, welcome! Hope you enjoy it here. Lots of very cool members.:AOK:

Well a big THANK YOU ...! I am from washington state and wonder if anyone else is from my neck of the woods too, been working here in KC for the last 20 years....

yaya...! now you have me hummun the darn tune...:) I have been doing a lot of memory lane lane traveling lately as we as a group play oldies and classic rock, but when I ran into Burton Cummings and Randy Bauchman at the Casino a few weeks ago, it just blew me away...I saw Robin Trower there a couple weeks prior and it was soooo loud I couldnt take but half the concert in..this was completely different and man, tears came to my eyes when they played " clap for the wolfman" the tune brought back soooo many memories of the early days...I bought the dvd then and there...so if you guys get a chance to see them...do !

Hi Dan! Welcome! I once worked with a guy we called Dangerous Dan the Chainsaw Man. Maybe we can switch that to Dangerous Dan the Guitar Man with you!

Robert, of course I know about Mr. Parker, and his very famous horn...we have a heck of alot of history here....the last couple of years has brought a lot of changes to KC, just seemed like during the 90's nothing was getting done, now, the sprint center, power and light district, racetrack, casinos, the full tilt...makes the place a lot more fun to live....

Welcome Dan.

You have been informed that the newbie buys a round of barley pops for all haven't you?

Don't let the mods exact a gear tribute from you. Everyone knows that the newbie gear tribute gets sent to me by an Unidentified Parcel Saucer.

Welcome to TheFret, Dan!:D
Sounds like you have a nice collection of gear.
Lots of music and history down there. I can't keep up with all of it, busy, busy place. Which casino were the concerts at? There are so many.........:D
I live an hour or so northwest of K.C., but I'm working there presently.
Helping build the new waterpark just east of Cabela's across I-435.
Lots of stuff going on there right now. Anyway, join the bunch here and post often, glad you found us!:AOK:

Come on over to the company( Garmin) I will give you a tour..been there 17 years, casino..Ameristar...

my take is you get what you sow, been around for awhile and love to learn and play and also relate to what I have found in the tone quest, I have a few good guitars that will play with the best..enjoy it all ! Thanks for the big welcome :)

Hey Dan you finally got accepted. I told you this would be a good fit for you. A lot of decent folk. I was almost banned because I caused too much gas with my Squier Deluxes and the CV Strat. Wait til they find out you are just as bad. LOL.

I'm catching up on long overdue welcomes! So, WELCOME to The Fret, Dan P!! Happy to have you with us! :AOK: :dude:
