This looks like a nice plave...so I'm afraid you peeps are going to be stuck with having me around.

Tomas here, 24 yo Art Director, graphic designer, photographer and sometimes even musician. I'm from Sweden, so i got a silly accent and a thing for meatballs. Been playing guitar for 9 or 10 years i think, mostly rythm guitar and singing. Alot on acoustic but also in rockbands, this year i've become a bassplayer and backing singer in a popband and will soon have a demo out with that one hopefully. I should add that i'm not a superguitarist or singer by any mean, i play for fun and seldom...err...never practice.

oh i enjoy writing music too and wouldn't stand to play in a coverband due to not playing original tunes (now i don't mind playing covers at all, just not all the time).

well that's about it i guess about what i do when it comes to music....so now over the gear.

Acoustic Guitars:
Emerald Opus X30
Takamine EF360SCO

Electric Guitars:
DeArmond T400
Epiphone Les Paul Standard (modded, only things original are the wood and the frets)
Godin Artisian ST with Lundgren 60's single coil set
Hagström Swede -74
Siggi Braun Custom "the Raven"
Wendler electroCoustic

Bass Guitars:
Ibanez Roadstar II RB960
Yamaha TRB-4P

Amps:
Guitar Marshall 30th Anniversary head, Randall 2x12 cab
Guitar Vox Tonelab
Bass Carvin 15" 100w

bunch of pedals i never use and various mics

that's all i think....

cheers
Tomas

Hey another swede on the board! Välkommen till the fret.net :)

I see that you have a guitar with lundgren pickups, he really knows how to make them sound good!

*edit* So you are from Jönköping? I live in Nässjö, almost neighbours :D

Sign up on a international musician board on the net and the first one who replies turns out to live about 30 min away...small world this

thanks for the welcome :D

I love the lundgren pups i got, makes the guitar sound more like a strat than a strat does

Welcome! Don't I know you? :P Have fun, we actually talk about gear and music in a civil way here! LOL!

You seem familiar. Aren't you the "Buyer Of The Month" at Armani?

:D

Welcome Tomas! You'll like it here!

thanks everyone

I found this place thanks to Riley and Kerc that i've known for years through other forums.

i've been on the train of GAS for a long time......still havn't figured out how to get off it lol

Yup, its true.. This is probably the only 100% friendly forum on the internet :)
We even have one of those cool "nude pancake cooking" dudes. :R

welcome Tomas!

We all gonna be speaking swedish in a couple years that way hehehe! I bet U will like the forum!

Hello & welcome, Tomas! Nice collection of guitars & amps you've got there. Maybe you can be the Swedish embodiment of Spudmanly values! If you hang around here for a couple of days, you'll know who that is! ;) :D

Welcome Tomas. Seems like us Yanks maybe out numbered here soon. This is a very good forum to belong too, but a word of caution. There are a few strange Fretters that hang out here. Chances are you will become one along with acquiring GAS.

Hail my Viking friend...hehe, Sweden must be a cool place, so many good guitar players and...stuff, anyway I think you'll like it here...for a while. :D

By the way, I really enjoy the international vibe of this place.
