Go kick some butt!!! More important than what you ran at Calgary, what have you been running 10k's and the like lately? Then I'll place a bet!! :D

Well I ran 5 km in super strong winds in 17:00 last week. I would equal that to 16:20 on a calm day. I ran a cross-country 10 km race in August, which I won in 35:05. Course probably slightly long too.

Your in the zone,it your daughters birthday, playing with eyes shut.ect.You'll do good.Sumi:D

Sorry, but you can forget that time... I'm a Masters runner in 3 months - I'm no spring chicken anymore and such times might have been possible in my youth, but not these days!

Well run like your being chased by a pack of angry surströmmingar! :D

Actually I have no ideas about stuff like running cause I take the car everywhere I go, but I really should start to exercise. Perhaps running would be a good thing.

My bet is that....you'll be sore as hell the next day. ;)
Good luck, Veinman! :AOK:

Even worse the next day. Every race, hard training day I ever had, that was the drill. Two days later, ouch!!!!

So my bet, based on current times. 2:39:30. If it's a great course and you really peak well, 6 minute mile pace. 2:37, 2:38.

A what with the who?

By the way, is this all in metric time?

Regina Marathon - 1:19:20 first half, but then I got spaghetti legs at 32 km, and faded substantially... I got 4th place and my time was 2:43:30. My buddy Brendan killed completely today, and won in 2:36 - HUGE PB for him!

Who's guess was closest? I think you guys expected too much from this old man today... So the best guesser should get a free guitar, courtesy of Spudman's and his huge guitar collection! :)

Still a good job running for close to 3 hours. That's brutal! You are a stud - but somewhat mistaken.;)

Hey that's not that bad a fade. 1:19/1:24. One of my huge crashes was a 1:12 split at the half, came home in barely under three. Now that's a fade!!!

2:43:30 and fourth place. That's a very big well done. :bravo: :bravo:

Well, still faster than Calgary. 2:43 and one off the podium, not a bad Sunday! Congrats! I think Kazz and BigG are closest at 2:42.
