Ibanez Mikro vs. Squier Mini

Christmas time is coming and my 4 year old has expressed interest (yeah!) in an electric guitar. Has anybody had any experience they'd like to share about the Ibanez Mikro or the Squier Mini? Looked at them yesterday at GC and seems like the Ibanez is put together well and has decent sound. The Squier seemed a little cheap. Any other suggestions for a smaller sized electric? Thanks!
