I first saw the Barenaked Ladies on 'Speakers Corner'

'Speakers Corner' was a video booth belonging to City TV in Toronto, Ontario where for $1 you could speak your mind. City TV would then produce a show of the weeks video's.

The Barenaked Ladies used this medium to get a little home town promotion.



They recorded and included this on their debut album, 'Gordon'

Good ones Wings! I did not see that 65 telecast. (that I remember, I was either 2 or 3 at the time) but I did see other broadcasts of that song. And though a helmet won't always save you skiing, I always wear one. RIP Sonny.
