My buddy had one just like that, only I don't think it had red side dots like this one does. But otherwise. It was older than either of us too, maybe 1970 or so, yet in perfect shape. Hardly seemed used at all!

I dropped it down for him when I loaned it to play a song at practice, and shattered the neck...well he got a new Custom from insurance. Sold it soon after & quit playing guitar altogether.

I guess they just scrapped the guitar for parts.
