The real trick to those Dumble amps is buying one from Dumble new (good luck) and having him tweak it to your style of music and instruments. Or getting him to tweak a used one (again, good luck). Most Dumbles were tweaked for a particular player. So it may or may not sound good depending on who is playing through it. It's a crap shoot. But they can sound magical with the right person playing it.

The only amp I've heard that sounds as good with a Les Paul as it does with a Tele. Going by recordings, I've never had the chance to play one.
