Inspired by 5th graders.

My son was in his school talent show last night, as part of a group of 4th grade boys dancing to "Thriller" The boys did great, and it was probably one of the best performances of the show.

The show closed with a group of mostly 5th graders that take part in the local "School of Rock" program that my son is joining this summer. These kids performed "Sweet Child of Mine" and rocked it! The drummer sang, and did an amazing job. Lead guitar was done well, but needed to be brought up in the mix to get over the drummer in the gymnasium acoustics.

Anyway, the boys rocked, and now I am inspired to learn a new song.

It was just a show. No Contest. I think my son's team's number, and this band's number were the best, but no one voted. I thought I remembered that you did that song in your talent show. I would love to hear your version some time.
