Is $700 a good price for a used '65 Twin RI?

Duh! Better snag it providing you don't have to pay shipping too. They are pretty heavy. Oh, and they are loud as heck.

Well I just saw it on Craigslist locally. I thought damn that's a good price for something like that.

Yea BUT do you have somewhere to actually use it? How is your back these days? As Yoda would say heavy and loud they are clean your tones they will be! That is a good price but damn man that is one ear bleeding loud amp, good living room amp.........for all the living rooms in your neighborhood! They are generally less than money for all the above reasons. Just something to consider.

Thanks for your reply Mark. I'm not going to buy it. I don't NEED it but I thought the price was good and sorta thought out loud about it and posted it here in case someone else was looking for one.

Even the real vintage ones dont command the price you would think they should as most people have nowhere to open em up. Just demand has dwindled.
